This competition involves no prize money and the only thing possible to win
in this competition is honor, but it is a good opportunity to test if your
robot is so good that you hope it is.
It is now time for a RealTimeBattle competition. This competition involves
no prize money and the only thing possible to win in this competition is honor.
If you have a robot that you want to submit. Do as follows:
- Submit the robots to
rtb@users.sourceforge.net
- It is also possible to register a robot now and submit it just before
the competition. To do so, send an email to
rtb@users.sourceforge.net and
write the name of the author, the robot and the author's email address.
- The robot executable should be sent in one of the following formats:
- An executable in linux ELF format compiled with either libc6 or libc5 (note that
our libc5 isn't the latest and we cannot garuantee that everything works correct with
libc5)
- Compilable sources in C, C++.
- The robot could be written with a language, such as perl or python, that is
compiled run-time.
- If the program requires something special to compile or run, please write so in
the email you send us.
- If you want to send sources in a language that we do not have, please
contact us and convince us to get the
language.
- Remember to write the author of the robot and the author's email address somewhere
in the mail
The rules of the competition is as follows:
- The standard environment will be used in the competition (Environment, robot,
shot and extras options is equal to the default setting).
- The arenas used will be Square.arena and Circle.arena
- The games will have a timeout of 5 minutes (300 seconds)
- There will only be duels in the games, i.e. robots per sequence is 2.
- Maximum number of total participanting robots is 64.
- The same person is only allowed to have 2 robots in the competition. If the total
number of participanting robots is less than 64, we might allow three robots per
person.
- How the competiton is held, i.e. which robots meet each other and how much points
they get, will be announced later when we see how many robots that is participating.
